2006-01-11 [Mister Saint]: Well, first you have to become a flipside member. You can't add a contest unless you're a member and you have read the Flipside Guide. ^^ After your name is on the Roster you can add it. And... both my contests allow both. I've been sticking them under prose. ^^

2006-01-14 [Mister Saint]: I have an idea brewing in my little head. I want to do something big... maybe a once every-so-many months kind of event here. See... one trait of a good writer is the ability to meet a deadline that isn't necessarily in the near future. NaNoWriMo, for those who are familiar with it, attempts this on a large scale. I would like to attempt it on a small scale, but I'd like the input of the Flipsiders.  PM me with any thoughts you have on the subject, and I'll compile them into a wiki later. ^-^

2006-01-14 [Kuzco]: I'm really not getting the concept. What kind of "big thing" how could it be bigger than any other stuff we're doing? Unless of course we demand a very bigger word limitation. But if it's not that, you really got me wonderin' :)

2006-01-14 [Mister Saint]: Well, several of our contests have lots of entries... especially considering that we're a writing wiki. ^^ This place remains the most active participation page in all of WritersCo. We're doing just fine. ^_^ Right now, I'm toying with the idea of having each member come up with some aspect of a story, something small, and then having each person write a story with 'em. ^^

2006-01-14 [Mister Saint]: Not exactly. What I'm thinking is that I'll assign all the willing members a specific part of the story to come up with. Like, I might say... Kuzco, come up with a main character, but just hir appearance/gender/abilities, and Chuey, come up with a setting, but without any history to it. Once we got enough pieces, each participant would write a story containing all those pieces, but making up their own history and storyline. ^^

2006-01-16 [Font]: There is no 'official' contest calendar. There is a calendar for members to see ongoing contests. Likewise with the Contest section, it is now just a list of current contests. I've mentioned before that there should only be 'official' administration pages the rest should be for and about writing and the community members. The community is here to be used guys, don’t desert it.
